About Us
ZSU Ltd is a local plumbing, heating, boiler and air conditioning company serving Hastings, St Leonards-on-Sea, Bexhill-on-Sea, Battle, Rye and surrounding parts of East Sussex. We help homeowners, landlords and local businesses with everything from urgent leaks and boiler faults to planned heating upgrades, bathroom work and efficient air conditioning systems.
The company is led by Peter, an experienced engineer whose hands-on trade background dates back to 2003. That experience has been built across gas engineering, full plumbing installations, boiler breakdowns and replacements, underfloor heating, vented and unvented cylinders, bathroom fitting, electrical fault finding and property maintenance. It means customers can speak to one knowledgeable local team about the complete comfort of their property.
Local engineering experience you can rely on
Good service begins with understanding the whole system, not only the visible symptom. A leaking pipe may be connected to pressure problems, a cold radiator may point to circulation or balancing issues, and an air conditioning fault can involve controls, airflow, refrigerant or electrical components. ZSU Ltd brings broad technical experience to each visit so that the cause can be assessed carefully and the available options explained clearly.
Peter’s professional background includes gas engineer roles, social housing maintenance, planned and reactive property repairs, full plumbing installations and bathroom fitting. This range of work has developed a practical, problem-solving approach: diagnose accurately, recommend an appropriate solution, protect the property while working and leave the area clean and tidy.

Using one local company for plumbing, heating, boilers and air conditioning makes it easier to coordinate repairs and improvements. Plumbing, heating and boiler specialists in Hastings
For customers searching for a plumber near me, an emergency plumber in Hastings or a Gas Safe heating engineer, ZSU Ltd offers a dependable local point of contact. We work on leaks, water pressure problems, hot water cylinders, toilets, taps, appliances, showers, wet rooms and complete bathroom replacements. Heating and boiler work includes fault diagnosis, servicing, repairs, radiator installation, heating controls, system balancing, power flushing and energy-efficient upgrades.
Because Peter’s experience covers both installation and fault finding, the focus is not simply on replacing parts. Wherever practical, the system is assessed as a whole so that customers can make an informed choice between repair, improvement and replacement.
Air conditioning expertise for homes and businesses
ZSU Ltd also provides air conditioning services across Hastings and East Sussex. F-Gas knowledge supports split and multi-split installations, annual servicing, performance testing, filter care, leak repair, controls, refrigerant recovery and fault diagnosis. Modern air conditioning can provide efficient cooling in summer and useful heating during cooler months, making it a practical comfort solution for bedrooms, living spaces, offices, shops and other small commercial premises.
